After discussing functional part requirements with our customers, we’ll carefully develop a CAD model we can deliver to our machinists so there’s no confusion regarding specs or materials. Our team includes engineering expertise to bridge the gap between engineering/design and manufacturing in order to produce mechanically sound and cost-efficient machine part solutions. We machine and fabricate parts from steel as well as a number of exotic alloys, so we can advise our customers on the best material for their components.
Our lathe machines contain live tools that allow additional milled features to be added to turned parts including flats, slots, and grooves. We can also add on-axis, axial, and radial holes to turned parts, but only support holes that are either parallel or perpendicular to the axis of revolution, and we cannot accommodate holes at odd angles for hard metals. We can mill off-axis holes on turned parts machined from aluminum or brass.
Our CNC milling process produces custom prototypes and end-use production parts. We use 3-axis milling and 5-axis indexed milling processes to manufacture parts from more than 30 engineering-grade plastics and metals. With Machined production parts, you can also get more competitive pricing at higher quantities in addition to first article inspection (FAI) reporting, material certifications, and additional finishing options like anodizing and chromate plating.
When it comes to intricate or simple machining, our skilled technicians have the experience and skill to perform the manual services needed for any job. Milling, lathing, drilling, grinding, slotting and welding are all part of the standard process steps we perform day-in and day-out. Different pieces of equipment supporting these operations we have the flexibility for any job. Utilizing the capabilities of our vertical shaper, internal keyways are something on which we pride ourselves. Large jig mill work… Besides, we enjoy work old school.
Laser cutting is less lossy way of metal processing than CNC machining. In process of CNC machining, large part of metal is discarded as a waste. Despite the precision given by CNC machining sometimes it is much better solution to use laser cutting method.
In case of laser cutting, precision of various thickness metal cutting is constant, but as an effect of contact with machined material tool of CNC machine is getting dull and must be exchanged at specified time. This has a significant impact on the price of the service. Laser cutting is great solution during mass production.
We deliver a true turnkey manufacturing solution, including post-production heat treating, powder coating, plating, anodizing, and related treatments as well as final assembly services. We realize that post-processing considerations must take place prior to manufacturing, so we’ll calculate and compensate for the shrinkage or growth that will occur during those processes. Our customers can be assured that the final processed product will adhere to their most precise specifications.
